The core: PHOENIX Cloud · Overview
Your own site and database
Every company gets its own private site, database and files. What is on your site and who can sign in to it.
On PHOENIX Cloud every company has its own site. It is not an account inside a shared system: it is your own copy of the software, with your own database and your own files.
What that means
- Nothing is shared. Your records sit in your database only. Another company’s users cannot see them, and a problem on another site does not touch yours.
- Your own settings. Your fields, your workflows, your brand and your users are yours alone.
- Your own address. Your site has its own web address, and it can use your own domain. See Your own domain.
What is on your site
| Part | What it is for |
|---|---|
| The back office | Where your team works: your system (for example Sourcing Management) and the ERP underneath |
| The client portal | Where your clients sign in, when your system has one |
| Your website | Public pages with your company name, set up with your site |
| Your brand | Logo, colours and favicon on all of the above |
Who can sign in
- Your team, with the role you give each person. See Users and roles.
- Your clients, on the portal only, seeing only their own records.
- PHOENIX, to set up and run your site and to help when you ask us.
Who runs it
We do. Hosting, HTTPS, updates, backups and monitoring are part of the service. There is nothing to install and no server for you to look after.
