Change your language
Switch your own screens between English and Chinese; each user chooses for themselves.

What it is
Every user works in English or Chinese, and chooses for themselves. Your site starts in the language you picked at signup; a colleague can work in the other one at the same time.
Why it matters
A team in Shenzhen and a manager abroad can work on the same deals, each in their own language. What you type yourself, such as a product description, stays as you wrote it.
Steps
- Select your initials or picture at the top right, then My Settings.
- Under Language, pick English or 中文 (zh).
- Select Save. Reload the page to see the new language.
Common mistakes
- Changing the language on someone else’s user. Each person changes their own under My Settings; a System Manager can also set it when adding a user.
Tips
- Prints such as the factory order can be in Chinese for the factory while you work in English.
- Clients on the portal see their own user language if it is set, otherwise your site’s language — see How languages work.
