The client portal
Inviting buyers, what clients see, expired links, decisions, languages and ending a buyer's access.
How does a client get a login? You invite the buyer from the client record; they get an email, choose a password and land on their portal. See Invite a client to the portal.
Can several buyers of one client have logins? Yes. Invite each person separately, so you know who approved what — never share one login.
What does a client see? Only its own requests, quotations, orders and messages — never another client’s records, never your factories or their prices. See What clients see.
The invitation link expired. What now? Links are valid for 3 days. Select Invite to portal again to send a new one.
Can a client refuse a quotation? Yes. The buyer approves or refuses with a comment, and you see the decision on the quotation. See The client’s decision.
Can a buyer choose the portal’s language? The portal has no language switcher: a buyer sees their own user language if it is set, otherwise your site’s language. See How languages work.
How do we keep the conversation on the deal? With messages on each request: the client and your team write in one thread, on your site. See Client messages.
How do I end a buyer’s access? Remove the buyer from the client’s Portal Users tab and save.
