Deal and order problems
What to do with factory quotes, the client's approval, submitted documents and earnings that look wrong.
A factory sent its prices by email or chat. Factories have no login: enter the quote yourself on the request — see Enter each factory’s quote.
The comparison numbers look wrong. Check the factory quotes you entered, then the costing sheet, before anything goes to the client — see Work out the client’s price.
The client approved, but there is no order. Make it from the approved quotation: Create > Sales Order — see Turn the approved quotation into an order.
The buyer says they approved, but the quotation shows nothing. Look under Client Decision on the quotation: the decision, the buyer’s name, the date and the note are saved there. No entry means the buyer has not decided on the portal.
I can’t change a submitted document. Submitted documents are not edited. A manager cancels the document and you make a new one; agents cannot cancel — ask a manager.
An earnings row looks wrong. Never edit the row: its amount comes from the costing sheet and its status from the invoices. Fix the source — see Follow your earnings.
The earnings stay “Expected” after I invoiced the client. Make the invoice from the client order with Create > Sales Invoice. An invoice made by hand does not move the earnings status.
